The birds were roosting on the Salt pans and the feathers and droppings caused a big financial loss. Since the installation of the 6 Eagle Eyes TM units, more than 90% of the birds have disappeared. We are extremely happy and grateful that our problem could be solved!! |

Results: |
A colony of Ibus Hadeda had taken over the small islands on the dam completely. They are very aggressive birds and had chased all other birds away. Their droppings had killed all the plants and even the fish were intoxicated by their acidic droppings. Our aim was to relocate the colony and to re-establish the normal bird life. This was done over a period of 6 months. One Eagle Eye was placed on the main island, and the other one on the bank. The result was amazing. The Ibus Hadeda have moved away from the dam to another breeding spot. |

Vrydag 18 Maart 2011 meeste neste behalwe kraai neste kon nie verwyder word nie, omrede dit drade bevat en dan risiko is om te verwyder, ook was hier Tarentale teenwoordig in die aande.

18 Dae later daar is minder versamelvoël aktiewiteiete te bespeur, Kraaie is egter nog doenig in S/S, ons sal hulle neste in Aug eers kan verwyder met totale S/S afsluiting. Tarentale blyk ook minder en of weg te wees uit S/S, maar wel in nabye omgewing om S/S, broeityd in veld nou, kan dalk terugkeer na broeityd.
Reduction in bird activity as well as Guinea Fowl presence.
