John is an Agricultural Economist and Chemist, who is fascinated by new inventions, which is how Eagle Eye came to be. John has been involved in the development of specialised bird-control products for more than 15 years. Hooking up his caravan and heading to off-the-grid camp sites is John’s idea of the perfect getaway.

A successful hotelier, marketer and accountant, Chris is passionate about the Eagle Eye product. Being able to market products that he and his brothers helped to develop ensures a personal and meticulous level of service excellence. A family man who loves the outdoors, playing golf, and traveling to the bush, Chris is the International Chief Marketing Officer for Eagle Eye Bird Control Trust.

John Jnr left the medical industry 10 years ago to join the family business. Like his father, he is an innovator who enjoys research and development projects. He is constantly trying to improve our current products and is involved in sales, web and print marketing, IT, and he also oversees the USA branch. Outside of work, John's passion is to braai, particularly in a beautiful spot along our coastline.

Director

James is a B.Com graduate of the University of Stellenbosch and started with Eagle Eye in 2009 as our accountant. However, it quickly became apparent that his communication skills and love of people made him far more suited to the sales side of the business. Today, he runs the Gauteng branch, as well key accounts for some blue-chip clients. A dedicated family man, with a wife and two children, who loves the outdoors, James still finds time to keep extremely fit and LOVES golf.

Welmedine started out at as the friendly face of Eagle Eye Bird Control as Receptionist in 2008, when the company was still in its infancy. As the company grew, so did Welmedine’s role. Gaining qualifications in bookkeeping and Pastel Accounting, Welmedine was promoted into managing the administration for the company. Friendly, motivated, and driven to deliver her best in all that she does. Welmedine offers part-time tutoring services. Social, with a passion for music and singing, Welmedine loves spending time with her friends and family.

Riaan van Wyk

Area and Sales Manager

Riaan has been part of the Eagle Eye Bird Control team since 2012, initially starting in the warehouse and working his way up to Area and Sales Manager, he oversees the KwaZulu-Natal operation along with his other day-to- day responsibilities. The outdoors, and particularly Namibia and the Orange River, are Riaan’s passion. His qualification in Tourism Management initially led him to pursue a career in guiding intrepid travellers on adventures such as river rafting and overland tours. After that, Riaan moved into transport logistics before joining Eagle Eye Bird Control. His outgoing personality and wicked sense of humour often result in more than a few practical jokes on unsuspecting victims in our office! Married with two young children, Riaan is an avid cyclist and keen golfer.

Financial Manager

Alan joined Eagle Eye in 2012 and has always been involved in the financial side of the business. With the growth of the business in that time, Alan’s department has expanded from a staff of one, to a staff of four. Following his studies in auditing and accounting, Alan worked in a variety of industries before leaving the accounting profession. This broad industry exposure has stood Alan in good stead for his current portfolio. Alan has seven grandchildren, ranging from one to 24 years in age and is very active in his church. His main pet peeve in life is queues – particularly at SARS or the bank! He loves to socialise with friends and family and is happiest at home.

General Manager – Gauteng

A farm boy from the Northern Cape with a love for the rush of city life in Gauteng. Since joining Eagle Eye in 2012 as a Sales Consultant, his passion for his role has seen him move up to the General Manager position. From climbing skyscrapers in Sandton to assessing houses and industrial buildings down at ground level, Eagle Eye has given Alfie a great perspective on life. On how important it is to build yourself and your team to improve their lives. A self-confessed work addict, Alfie also enjoys tending his garden to relieve stress as well as spending time in the bushveld to reconnect with nature. Blessed with a wonderful wife and lovely baby girl, he also enjoys keeping up to date with all sports, particularly rugby and Formula 1, to stay relaxed and grounded.
